We had a better turn out than expected for our 1st party to kick off the new year!! Several special guests today!!
We had 6 boys in attendance. Our Firefighters from Engine 16 was able to join us. They entertained the boys with party favors, and their gear from the fire station. The boys enjoyed trying on the coat and hat, and even our Royalty joined in the fun.
The Tutu Ladies always puts smiles on girls and boys faces with their handiwork with tutus, cape and mask selections.
20 little girls were greeted by special guests Princess Rapunzel and Tinkerbell compliments of The Wishes Foundation. I overhead several conversations regarding Rapunzel’s hair and castle and Tinkerbell’s flying and some magic dust. Also, in attendance were Miss Music City, Chloe Hubbard and Miss Parsons, Taylor Bevis that jumped right in helping with making sure each child was treated like Royalty. Girls were treated with nail polish, lipstick, party favors and a crown that is donated from girls that compete in pageants local and national levels.
Once all nails and lips are painted, crowns selected and tutus on, the girls have a picture taken with the Princesses.
We also were able to send 6 goodie bags with party favors, lip stick, nail polish and a crown for those ones that were unable to attend the event.
Again, Lindsay Bateman put huge smiles on faces with mylar balloons with princess characters, to decorate our staging event and then they were given away at the end of the event. Delaney Henry was able to be in join us in painting these sweet faces.
We had an older girl attend today, and she was such a joy to all of us with her sweet smile and precious spirit. We all so enjoy these sweet children and love to see the smiles and excitement for this event.
HUGE thank you to all the volunteers that devote their precious time to put huge smiles on these precious children faces if only for an hour, the memories made in that hour will last a lifetime.
Can’t wait for our next party!!
