My name is Hannah, I am fifteen years old, and I am so honored to be a representative of the For A Day Foundation. I am looking forward to being a voice for all of the children I meet and spreading hope. As a pediatric cancer survivor, one of my life goals is to help kids going through chronic illnesses as

When I was five and a half years old, 1 was diagnosed with Stage 3 Nephroblastoma, which meant that a softball sized tumor was enveloping my left kidney. I had to have chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to remove the cancerous tumor along with my left kidney. After continued treatment, I was medically declared cancer free nine years ago and was told that I was in remission at the age of twelve.

I am an avid dancer, leader in my community, and activist for childhood cancer. Recently, I became involved in pageantry, which has allowed me to elevate my platform to a greater audience while earning scholarship money. I have had the honor to receive awards from pageantry for my community service and earn multiple titles! 1 have a love for volunteering on local, state, and national levels hoping to benefit the future of America: our children.

I am so excited to begin my journey with For A Day! The goals for my involvement with this incredible foundation are to pursue public speaking engagements to share my story, show the impact of programs like the For A Day Foundation, and support all of the families going through one of the toughest journeys they will ever face. I know that I will grow through this experience in being involved with this organization along with my mentorship from Jenna Edwards. I am ecstatic about this opportunity and cannot wait to start making an impact!
