On August 30, we received a referral regarding a little girl named Jashly. After talking with Jashly's mom Marlen on September 3, we learned that Jashly had recently been diagnosed with cancer and was going to start her treatment soon. We at For A Day wanted to give Jashly a couple of options for her Family Experience. Jashly decided that she wanted to go to the movies and dinner with her family.
On September 7, Jashly and her family went on their Family Experience. They went to see "The Angry Birds Movie 2." After the movie, they enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Dish Society.
Nova Derma Spa generously donated the movie tickets and Dish Society generously donated a gift card for the family to enjoy a wonderful dinner out.
Jashly's mom sent us a thank you note, in which she wrote Muchas gracias se los agradezco mucho por hacer que mi hija se la pase muy bien.
When we got this referral, we had to rush to ask our donors because we wanted to make sure that this sweet family could have a great time out together before treatment. Our two donors were able to give us an answer the same day! We want to express our utmost thanks to both Nova Derma Spa and Dish Society for expediting their response in giving Jashly and her family a truly great Family Experience.
