August 24 - Monroe Carell, Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt

We had a fabulous turnout at today’s party, loved spending my birthday hosting this event!!

We had 8 boys to attend, and sadly our firefighters could not make it.  But the gift table was fun and our longtime volunteer Delany Henry, made sure all of the guys were greeted and helped choose items from the table and to assist in picking out the great super hero capes!!

14 little girls were excited to have nails painted and pick out their perfect shade of lipstick for the day.  It was a flurry of activity, picking gifts from the table, tutus and of course choosing the perfect crown!  Our crowns are actually donated by little girls that compete on stage in local and national level pageants.

One girl could not decide on which crown, so we had to try on several and let her look in the mirror.  And another wore her ball dress to the event and loved spinning around with Miss TN USA Allee-Sutton Hethcoat.  They were precious to watch.  Miss TN USA Allee-Sutton Hethcoat, and Miss Teen Jefferson County United States 2018 Autumn Allison went LIVE on facebook with two sisters that were so excited to show explain what was happening at all of the different stations.

We also were able to send 4 goodie bags with party favors, lip stick, nail polish and a crown for those ones that were unable to attend the event.

Our Tutu Ladies again thrilled little girls with tutus. So sweet to watch them pick their favorite colors and put them on and twirl around in them. Huge thank you to those ladies and everyone that donates in order for them to continue putting smiles on each child!

We were honored with the appearances of some very special ladies.  We had special guests, Miss TN USA Allee-Sutton Hethcoat, and Miss Teen Jefferson County United States 2018 Autumn Allison!  These ladies are amazing, and oh what fun was had by all.  They made these girls feel like Royalty!

Lindsay Bateman was welcomed aboard as a volunteer, and very excited to work with her on future ventures!  The Tutu ladies again brought many smiles to these children’s faces and are considered a huge part of this event.  Delaney Henry has been a long-standing volunteer with this program and so very thankful for all of her help throughout the years.  HUGE thank you to all the volunteers that devote their precious time to put huge smiles on these precious children faces if only for an hour, the memories made in that hour will last a lifetime.
